Road and Trail Condition Update

  Trail Conditions for Thursday, March 11th, 2010

It is still 10 days to spring !  Our main trailsystem is open and groomers are still doing their job. Visitors will have an opportunity to enjoy some of the last, good rides of the season. Increasingly visitors will encounter spring riding conditions with bare trail sections and icy corners. Lakes are staked. 

Guests are reminded that space on our trails is limited to 100 permits per day and that reservations are required.

A note on ATVs: Haliburton Forest DOES permit ATVs on its trailsystem IN WINTER ONLY - machines which are factory designed for one rider ( no passenger) cannot accommodate a passenger !
