Cameron relocated from Scotland to Ottawa in 2003. In 2008 he joined the outdoor education team as an Outdoor Facilitator and Forest Guide, and has become an integral part of the organization. An ISA Certified Arborist with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Derby, Cameron has worked as an instructor on arborist programs at the college level in the UK and Ontario.
In April 2017, Cameron took on the role of Operations Manager (Tourism & Recreation), overseeing many of the operational aspects of Haliburton Forest’s tourism and recreation business. In addition Cameron is a Board Member of Adventure Haliburton, he is the co-chair of the Haliburton Forest Fishing Society as well as the Health and Safety Committee.
When not immersed in the forest, Cameron spends his free time playing the highland bagpipes, fishing, atving and enjoying other outdoor pursuits.
