Possession of and access to any Haliburton Forest map does not imply a right to use the subject lands, and users without a valid property use permit are trespassing and will be prosecuted! All visitors to Haliburton Forest must report to the Main Office at Base Camp located at 1095 Redkenn Road prior to entering the property.
As a condition of use of the lands of Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve Ltd. any visitor assumes all risk of personal injury, death or property loss resulting from any cause whatsoever including but not limited to the risks, dangers and hazards of any recreational use; collision with natural or man made objects or other persons; travel within or beyond the authorized road and trail boundaries; or negligence, breach of contract or breach of statutory duty of care on the part of Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve Ltd., its respective directors, officers, employees, agents, independent contractors, subcontractors, representatives, sponsors, successors and assigns (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Haliburton Forest”).
Any visitor to Haliburton Forest agrees that Haliburton Forest shall not be liable for any such personal injury, death or property loss and releases Haliburton Forest and waives all claims with respect thereto. The visitor to Haliburton Forest agrees that any litigation involving Haliburton Forest shall be brought within the exclusive jurisdiction of the court of the Province of Ontario. Any visitor to Haliburton Forest further agrees that these conditions and any rights, duties and obligations as between Haliburton Forest and the property use permit holder shall be governed by and interpreted solely in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and no other jurisdiction.
